Details

The new Wabisabi poufs, inspired by the beauty of imperfection and nature, are created to expand the iconic Wabisabi rug collection. This new addition aims to bring a touch of serenity and elegance to spaces, while maintaining the essence of the Japanese Wabi-sabi philosophy, which celebrates imperfection, transience, and the beauty of nature.

The poufs are characterized by their timeless design, organic texture, and soft yet contrasting tones that evoke the harmony of simplicity. Made from 100% New Zealand wool, these decorative accessories not only offer comfort and functionality but also serve as a central piece in the decoration of spaces.

Available in 3 sizes suitable for complementing any type of space, the Wabisabi poufs have been created to become the perfect complement to add volume and warmth to interiors.

The piece successfully brings together two close designers: on one side, Nani Marquina, who designed the original patterns, and on the other, Marcos Catalán, a designer and architect who added volume to the collection.

Available in 2 color combinations: anthracite and bone and its inverted version.

Fibers

100% New Zealand Wool

Typically, New Zealand wool is known to be the whitest, cleanest, purest and most natural wool in the world. Its softness is due in part to the altitude and the vegetation available to the herds. It is guaranteed to be cruelty-free.

Technique

Hand loomed Dhurrie

Manual weaving on a vertical or horizontal loom that plays with the intersection between weft and warp.

Thin and light rugs that usually feature geometric patterns, as well as firm, resistant and without knots, which makes dhurries clean and easy to maintain rugs.

Wabisabi Collection

Traditional Japanese arts, such as Hagi pottery, Ikebana (flower arranging), gardens, the Japanese tea ceremony, and poetry (such as haiku), captivate those who appreciate beauty.

These arts transmit the essence of wabisabi: the acceptance and contemplation of imperfection, the constant flow (the incomplete) and the impermanence of things. impermanence of things. Wabisabi, impossible to encapsulate in a single word, is a profound concept.
