Fibers

100% Hand Spun Wool Afghan

Afghan wool comes from sheep grazed high in the mountains of Afghanistan. Naturally corrugated, it is a very resistant material with a rough touch. Due to the curl of the wool and the irregularity in the yarn, when weaving it it achieves an aged and unique look.

Technique

Hand loomed Kilim

Manual weaving on a vertical or horizontal loom that plays with the intersection between weft and warp.

It is characterized by being thin, hairless and with geometric motifs. High-density rugs, durable and resistant, even if they are very light rugs.

Nomad Collection

A basic monochrome that in its simplicity reflects the laborious manual art of weaving. The peculiarity of this collection is its irregular, slightly worn finish, which is achieved thanks to the use of traditional manual processes.

Hand-spun by women in Peshawar, Pakistan, the fiber retains certain irregularities that will later also be reflected in the dyeing and therefore in the final piece. Nomad comes in four colors and is, in its simplicity, a tribute to the beauty of craftsmanship.
