La lana afgana proviene de ovejas de pastoreo alto en las montañas de Afganistán. Naturalmente ondulada, es un material muy resistente y de tacto áspero. Debido al rizo de la lana y la irregularidad en el hilado, al tejerlo consigue un aspecto envejecido y único.

Hand loomed Dhurrie

Tejido manual en telar vertical u horizontal que juega con la intersección entre trama y urdimbre.

Alfombras delgadas y ligeras que suelen presentar patrones geométricos, además de firmes, resistentes y sin nudos, lo que lo hace de los dhurries unas alfombras limpias y fáciles de mantener.
