Reuse, reduce, recycle. Flexible tubes from Indian bicycle tires are woven together to create textures.

A conceptual, sustainable and unique rug made from 100% recycled material, ideal for indoors and outdoors. Each piece is created from between 130 and 140 bicycle tubes collected and processed in India. In addition to raising awareness about recycled products, Bicicleta also represents a transgressive aesthetic for the most avant-garde spaces.

Curiosity and research into recycled rubber to create new textures was the driving force behind this project. The solution came during a trip to India: bicycle tyre tubes, their most common means of transport.
