Ana Mir (Valencia, 1969) and Emili Padrós (Barcelona, ​​1969) have a Master's degree in Industrial Design from Central Saint Martins in London. They founded Emiliana Design Studio in 1996 for product development, furniture, interior design, curating and exhibition design. . Emiliana Design Studio is characterized by its ability to offer a renewed approach to each project.

They focus on experimentation with materials, objects and spaces, and manage to involve the user in a participatory way, without ever forgetting the functional, technical and productive aspects. Many of his designs, ideas and concepts have been exhibited internationally (MoMA in New York, Milan, Paris, Tokyo, Sydney...) and some of them are part of the permanent collections of the FNAC Fond National d'Art Contemporain of France, of the Museum of Decorative Arts of Barcelona and the Museum of Art of Indianapolis in the United States.

Her designs are produced by companies such as Samsung Electronics Ltd, Toyota Motors, Richter Spielgeräte, Domestic & Mustache France, Eno Editions, Kettal, Joquer, nanimarquina, Escofet, Women'Secret, Arbora & Ausonia, Comme des Garçons, Uno Design, Enric Rovira Xocolater, Marset, Dune New York, among others. They have designed exhibitions for museums and cultural centers such as the CCCB (Center for Contemporary Culture of Barcelona), Toyota Museum of Contemporary Art in Japan, Museum für Angewandte Kunst in Frankfurt, Salvador Dalí Museum in Florida, Center Cultural Caixa Catalunya – La Pedrera, among others.

Ana Mir and Emili Padrós have been awarded the ADI-FAD Silver Delta 2005 for the “Collector” lamp, the FAD Prize for Ephemeral Architecture 2000, the 1st International Domus Boeing Business Jet Prize, 1999 and the 1999 City of Barcelona Prize for Design .
