Tradition
When we talk about tradition, we do so with an eye to the past and the future. We work with countries that master the art of carpet weaving, in this way we contribute to preserving their culture, respecting the ancestral techniques that teach us so much about the value of materials, manual work and the need for things to last. By combining tradition with research, we can create quality contemporary carpets without losing the charm and uniqueness of craftsmanship.
Color
This is one of the axes around which many of our decisions revolve; it is a tool that we feel very comfortable working with and that gives us great freedom. We study it with great respect and with a good understanding of the possibilities that it can offer us.
Everything around us is made up of colors that affect us in one way or another; no color is without meaning or context. With the same color we can take risks, or on the contrary, bring calm. It is magical to see how its presence—and absence—influences a room.
Intuition
Intuition, the fruit of a true vocation for what we do, forces us to conceive any design understanding that a rug creates a relationship with the person and the space they inhabit.
It helps us not to be carried away by trends and to relate to the world in a more human way. This rigorous intuition, as we like to define it, has led many of our decisions and is a fundamental part of the creation process, as it forces us to imagine everything that surrounds a piece and to understand what a rug is capable of contributing to a home, a public space and a lifestyle.
Collaboration
We believe that knowledge and talent should be shared. We collaborate with nationally and internationally renowned artists and young talents, as well as working hand in hand with suppliers and customers, from whom we learn every day. Partnerships at nanimarquina also have a social tone, such as the Kala project in collaboration with the NGO Care & Fair in India. Opening the doors to different points of view and the exchange of ideas are key to evolution.
Honesty
In order to offer complete transparency and to ensure that our dealings with the people who make up nanimarquina and the use of materials, processes and techniques are respectful, we have developed a sustainability strategy that affects our global actions as a company and forces us to look for ways to improve our impact on the world in the short and long term. We can only understand our passion for carpets if we care for the environment and are aware of our social responsibility.

Experience
We were founded in 1987 in Barcelona and have since worked on numerous public, shared-use and residential projects. Over the years, experience has shown us time and again that knowledge, product quality and the relationships we establish with others are vital to achieving a good result. We can also boast that our rugs carry the savoir faire of great weavers, true artists with many years of experience behind them, who are able to combine the oldest techniques with current needs and create designer rugs of great artisanal value.
Culture
We dedicate a large part of our collections to showcasing the original work of artists such as Javier Mariscal , Eduardo Chillida or Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec , among others. In this way, and with strict respect for copyright protection, we are committed to preserving contemporary culture. In addition, we have another great source that nourishes everything we do: the Mediterranean, it is our essence and origin. It gives us a lifestyle and a culture in which luxury has nothing to do with ostentation, but with simplicity, harmony, durability and colors.
Innovation
We believe in low-tech innovation as a way to reach new shapes and textures and to be closer to the production of materials. We understand innovation not only as technical innovation with which to reach new solutions, but also as the constant curiosity that drives us to improve any field of the company and to control its impact in the short and long term.
